The hotel was a mixed experience. The Estury suite stood out as the best in terms of comfort, but the room temperature was uncomfortably hot, requiring a fan, which was a downside. However, overall, we enjoyed our stay despite this issue.

Rooms

The Estury suite was the best by far, offering great comfort. However, the room temperature was so hot that we needed a fan on to breathe.
Service

The staff were very helpful upon arrival, and we were pleasantly surprised by the nice view of the sea. However, their demeanor towards us was somewhat cold, affecting the overall experience.
Location

The location was perfect for anyone visiting Southend on Sea, with easy access to everything and great views. The advice on downloading the parking app was very helpful for convenient parking nearby.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience could have been improved with a better selection and faster service. However, the food was good, and the option for a cheap alcohol deal would have been a nice addition.
Facilities

The hotel had lovely gardens over the road leading down to the promenade and beach, enhancing the overall ambiance. However, lacking a cheap alcohol deal was a missed opportunity.

My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, but the lack of proper ventilation and cleanliness issues detracted from the experience. The service was friendly and pleasant overall, but there were some instances of being rushed during check-out. The location was picturesque and convenient for the venue we visited, but it might not be a top choice for a return visit. The dining experience had room for improvement, with limited choices and food quality concerns. The facilities were decent but could benefit from some enhancements.

The hotel had a perfect location with charming views of the estuary, though it could benefit from some updates. The service was friendly and helpful but lacked communication skills occasionally. The dining options were somewhat limited, and the price was a bit high for what was offered.

Upon arrival, the hotel presented some challenges including a noisy room location, dated bathrooms, and a complicated building layout. However, the staff were friendly and accommodating, organizing the best room for our needs during our visit. The location, though convenient for the theater and cliffs Pavillion, was marred by noise and unexpected interruptions from nature. Dining had its ups and downs with delayed service but delicious food. Overall, a mixed experience with room for improvement.

Rooms
5.0
The room I was assigned was terribly noisy due to its location next to the entrance, and the dated 80's bathroom was poorly maintained. Navigating the maze of multiple flights of stairs added to the challenges.
Service
7.0
The staff, although friendly, were not able to offset the initial room issues but did ensure we got the best available room for our purpose.
Location
5.0
The hotel's location, with a lift and proximity to cliffs Pavillion, seemed promising. However, unexpected interruptions like a day in A&E due to giant moths dampened the experience.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience had its moments with a lovely conservatory setting and delicious food, though the service was inconsistent with longer than expected wait times.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were satisfactory, with some improvements needed to enhance the overall guest experience.
