Muthu Westcliff Hotel, Southend-on-Sea

The hotel was a mixed experience. The Estury suite stood out as the best in terms of comfort, but the room temperature was uncomfortably hot, requiring a fan, which was a downside. However, overall, we enjoyed our stay despite this issue.

My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, but the lack of proper ventilation and cleanliness issues detracted from the experience. The service was friendly and pleasant overall, but there were some instances of being rushed during check-out. The location was picturesque and convenient for the venue we visited, but it might not be a top choice for a return visit. The dining experience had room for improvement, with limited choices and food quality concerns. The facilities were decent but could benefit from some enhancements.

The hotel had a perfect location with charming views of the estuary, though it could benefit from some updates. The service was friendly and helpful but lacked communication skills occasionally. The dining options were somewhat limited, and the price was a bit high for what was offered.

Upon arrival, the hotel presented some challenges including a noisy room location, dated bathrooms, and a complicated building layout. However, the staff were friendly and accommodating, organizing the best room for our needs during our visit. The location, though convenient for the theater and cliffs Pavillion, was marred by noise and unexpected interruptions from nature. Dining had its ups and downs with delayed service but delicious food. Overall, a mixed experience with room for improvement.
